MathPath 2026 | Week 4 Update: Finishing Strong
Our final week of camp is full of energy and excitement!
One thing has been especially clear this summer: breakouts are a camper favorite. In fact, if excitement could break an algorithm, our breakouts definitely pushed the limit. We've loved seeing MathPathers eagerly head to their sessions each day ready to discover just how fun learning can be.

Last weekend was full of opportunities to explore Portland and continue growing connections with fellow campers. Saturday's campus-wide scavenger hunt was the perfect way to end camp the same way we began it on Orientation Day. MathPathers tested their campus knowledge, MathPath history, and ability to spell supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. It turns out a good scavenger hunt never goes out of style!
On Sunday, campers headed out to activities near and far, as we worked to experience as much as possible in the last full weekend. MathPathers hit the alpine slide in Mt. Hood, jumped and bounced at the trampoline park, watched The Big Soccer Match at the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) and more. Check out our reel recapping the day!
Monday's final all-camp field trip took MathPathers to Cannon Beach. Some students started the day with a hike while others immediately walked down to the famous Haystack Rock to take in the views and grab group photos. While some chose to spend the day relaxing on the beach or to enjoy more time by the rock, others explored the main streets, feasted on crepes, fish and chips, and ice cream, and more than a few campers did some shopping. It was an amazing day exploring and simply being together in a new place.
As we prepare for departure day, a reminder that our travel information form has been emailed to all families. Please complete the form for all campers even if your camper will be departing by car. This helps us ensure every camper has a smooth departure.
We also look forward to welcoming this who can join us in-person or via livestream for our Closing Ceremony and Variety Show on Saturday, July 25th to celebrate all that campers have accomplished this summer.
There are still a few more camp moments to come! Follow us on Instagram for daily highlights as we wrap up another unforgettable summer at MathPath.
